A Unique Historic Gem

I have stayed here before and they are such nice hosts! I would highly recommend this place if you are contemplating a stay in Newcastle. The downtown business district and several good eating establishments are within walking distance.

I just stayed at the loveliest Inn the lady that owns it was absolutely wonderful. My room was nice and comfortable big. I can’t say enough about the place. It’s cute and it’s quaint if y’all ever in. Newcastle, Wyoming you have to stop by and stay the night. I’ll give it five stars.

What an excellent stay we had. Jacinta and her husband care about all of the details. The place was very clean and lots of nice touches.

We stayed here one night, went away for three days and stayed two more nights. We had two different rooms. Room 19 was very dark and had an old, stained shower. Room 20 was lovely - very clean and roomy. Air conditioning was top-notch! Staff was lovely and helpful. Breakfast is an assortment of sandwiches and burritos from the freezer and muffins, fruit, etc. Nice lobby sitting area. Humorous signs!

This place is amazing! The owners take great pride in providing top-shelf hospitality. We were very pleased with our stay. They even provide percolated coffee. A nice treat from Keurig which they have for those who prefer. We will purposely pass this way again to stay here!!!

The Sundowner Inn was the perfect spot for our stay during travels. From the wonderful job they have done remodeling, to the super cleanliness of the rooms, bedding, and bathrooms, I could not rate the stay any higher for a little place in Newcastle, WY! The beds were soft and extremely comfortable, the rooms were quiet, and the owner / operators are extremely hospitable, caring, and helpful. You can tell by the details in the rooms, the fantastic continental breakfast, and by the helpful communications that they genuinely want your stay to be best it can be. We will definitely stay again, and recommend to anyone needing an affordable place to stay in the area (oh! and we were allowed to have our pupper, which was a bonus!).

From the moment I arrived, this hotel welcomed me with open arms. The staff here are truly the most friendly, warm, and accommodating people I have ever encountered in my travels. They went completely out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed and felt right at home.The customer service here sets a whole new standard. If you are deciding between places to stay, choose this one without hesitation. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a perfect stay, and I will definitely choose them over any other hotel in the area every single time! And Thank them for being so 😇 kind .

Owners are super nice ,friendly,and helpful..place is awesome in my opinion the sundowner inn is very clean ,beds are comfortable, rooms and bathrooms are super clean and at had plenty of hot water when you shower, air conditioner worked great and the place was reallyquite at night .I gave all five stars because I felt like i was at home and it had at vibe like I was at my own home .my favorite part of tje hotel was the front porch they have up front I loved sitting on a porch like I do at home and watching the traffic. Go by on a afternoon...if I ever come back to Wyoming I will be staying again.. P.s they have the best coffee in town too..
